The Harlaxton RSL Brass Band is located in the Toowoomba suburb of Harlaxton.
Toowoomba is a large provincial city in Queensland, on the Eastern edge of the Darling Downs and referred to as the Garden City. It has a population of more than 120,000.
We are a traditional non-competing brass band and was formed in 1991 at the invitation of the Harlaxton RSL Sub Branch. Our initial members were former members of the 25 Bn RQR Band.
Today the Band has members of all ages from teenagers to the not so young.
Presently we have a regular attendance of 22.
We have a dedicated band room at the North Toowoomba Bowls Club where Andy Will is our current Musical Director. We are always looking for new players on
all instruments.
As our name suggests we provide music for the Returned & Services League of Australia and the various Australian Defence Force Associations throughout the year.
We have a yearly subscription concert at the local university with a popular repertoire which guarantees a large attendance.
If you are looking for a Band or just visiting Toowoomba please pay us a visit.
